Starfire was built in 1963 at the very end of wooden carvel planked tradition. Her construction is extremely robust, built of the very best materials teak, Iroko and Mahogany. Narrow and deep, she is a very powerful boat. Prior to a six year circumnavigation, I replaced transom, hatches', cockpit, coamings, and 50% of interior. Enlarged the bridge deck and created a dedicated engine room. Water tight bulkheads etc...
